There are many people who contributed their time and effort to make our project possible.  We feel that it is important to recognize these people who have sacrificed their time for us.

We would first like to thank Dr. Choi for suggesting the idea of installing wind turbines on Nose Hill.  He helped us outline the plan of this project and guide us through it.  He was willing to give up his weekend to help us complete the physics component of our project.  Dr. Choi taught us how to use the power calculator, which was very helpful because it was a very complicated formula.  Dr. Choi also devoted some of his time to help us travel to Nose Hill.

Lisa Choi also helped us on this project.  She provided the team with food whenever we met at May’s house.  More importantly, she provided transportation for the tri-fold.  Thanks to Lisa’s generous help, we were able to complete our project efficiently.

Mrs. Miller and Mr. Nickel also helped us in our project. Mrs. Miller and Mr. Nickel are our chemistry teachers.  They answered our questions when something came up.  Mrs. Miller also provided us with the anemometer and tri-fold.

We would also like to thank Lisa’s, Helena’s, and Kate’s parents who were able to provide them with transportation and supplies for the project.

The surveyed people also need to be thanked for spending time to fill out a survey in this project.  As a result of these generous people, we were able to gather enough data in the end.
