The object of my project is to find out what gum brands can strech the longest. In other words what gum brand can blow the biggest bubble. I predict that bubblicious and Hubba Bubba will tie first, in second place Wrigley's Extra, third, Trident and in forth, Dubble Bubble. The materials I will be using are............

Materials

-a package of bubblicious gum

-a package of Hubba Bubba gum

-a package of Wrigley's Extra gum

-a package of Trident gum

-a package of Dubble Bubble gum

-a meter stick

1.Go shopping for supplies.

2.Tape a meter stick to a long table.

3.Chew bubble gum for exactly five minutes.

4.remove bubble gum from my mouth and strech until the gum breaks

5.Record the length of the bubble gum before it breaks.

6.Repeat process five times with each type of gum.

Independant

I think the independant part of my project is the gum because the brands can change.

Dependant

I think the dependant part of my project will be how much the gum will streach if I change tthe different brands.

Control

In my project my flavor of gum and my brands of gum don't change.
