Hooke discovered cells

Brown discovered the nucleus(center) of molecules
1866-Gregor
Johann Mendel’s

Freidrich Miescher discovered nucleins(now called DNA)
1888-G.Waldyer
names chromosomes
1909-Garrod
suggested that deformed cells could cause diseases
1937-Richard
Goldschmidt discovered that genes are points on chromosomes
1953-Crick
et Watsome discovered the structure of genes
1987-Genetically
created plants start to grow
1997-Dolly, a cloned goat is born

His
work also lead to the discoveries of dominant and recessive traits, phenotype
and genotype (external and internal appearance) and particulate heritage.
Gregor
Johann Mendel was born on July the 22nd 1822 in Heizendorf, Austria.
He was the only child of his father, a farmer from
the country.
He studied math and biology at the University of Vienna. His dream
was to be a professor, but he
failed the qualification exam. He
died on January 6th, 1884.
