Our objective was to see which vitamin and painkiller dissolved and spread equally in a bowl of body temperature water the fastest.

We put the chosen vitamins and painkillers into bowls of water at body temperature and timed with a stop watch.

The order of the painkillers that dissolved the fastest was:

• The Extra Strength Tylenol capsule.
• The Advil Ibuprofen tablet.
• The Advil Liqui-Gels capsule.

The order of the vitamins that dissolved the fastest was:

• The Acidophilus capsule.
• The Vitamin C chewable tablet.
• The Vitamin C caplet.

Our hypothesis was rejected. The Advil Liquid Gel actually took the longest to dissolve.
