Before a cat is a cat, it is a kitten. They can't open there eyes or hear before they are 2 weeks old. When they are 3 weeks old, they start eating. At 4 weeks they start cleaning themselves. Then at 5 weeks they start eating dry foods. When they are 6 weeks old they can go outside. And at 7 to 9 weeks their teeth have grown in and there eating 2 to 3 times a day. Kittens will gain a lot of weight. They will also develop an excellent sense of smell.
