Predators

The kangaroo rat has many predators. Its predators in Saskatchewan are foxes, prairie rattle snakes, bull snakes, coyotes, owls, badgers, skunks, weasels, and bobcats. Kangaroo rats use foot drumming to tell predators the kangaroo rats know the predators are close. Some predators will then go away and look for some prey that will be easier to catch.
