We chose this problem because we both like to build things and we wanted to build something creative. We decided to build a Hovercraft. After we chose what we were going to build then we thought of something that we would experiment with it. Hovercrafts works by the bottom being covered with a plastic skirt that has holes cut into it. The hovercraft is powered by air. The air is blown into the plastic skirt underneath which then becomes inflated and lifts the hovercraft up. The air holes underneath let the air out and the hovercraft then floats on a cushion of air. On the back of the hovercraft a fan or leaf blower is mounted to move the hovercraft forward.
