In the volcano experiment, I used baking soda and vinegar to represent the magma erupting from the crater of the volcano. In conclusion, I discovered that when magma from the magma chamber feels the heat of two platelets pushing against one another, it flows through a volcano’s vent, getting hotter and hotter until it erupts and flows down the crust of the volcano becoming lava. This clearly states my hypothesis that when magma builds up inside the vent of a volcano, the volcano erupts.
