Progressive brain cell loss in the Schizophrenic Brain

The line drawing was saved to the computer and the rest of the pictures were coloured in MS Paint, photocopied onto transparency sheets, and over-laid. This was the hands-on model that accompanied the science fair presentation. For this page, the overlays were photographed.










The blue area in the final picture is that part of the brain generally unaffected by brain cell loss even after several years of schizophrenia.
