    Part 1:
    The main variable I am testing is diet and its effect on the acidity in our blood. 

    The control category in my experiment is the people who ate uncooked food.  From my         research, I would expect the uncooked category to have the most alkaline urine because     cooking food causes it to leave an acidic trace in the blood.
