Looking at the youth from the ages of 15 to 18, 63% of them are taller than their same sex parent (daughter-mother; son-father) and 87% were taller than one parent.

Because of these high percentages, I believe there are changes occurring.  It would seem the current youth generation is taller than the previous generation.

Because girls reach their height maximum at approximately age 16 and boys at age 18, there is a very good chance the percentages will increase.
