In conclusion, our results have shown that red light could possibly be used to enhance the healing process of cells and tissue. Firstly, in our laser experiment, growth of the cells with the treatment of the red laser beam light was improved compared with cells without treatment. Secondly, the mock bandage experiment illustrated excellent results given that the cut under the red bandage healed at a faster rate. Our research can be applied to creating new innovations an further our knowledge of the cell. Not only can it be applied to make a user-friendly bandage, but it can also be studied further to be used in numerous other medical areas. Such a discovery has many applications.
