Methodology

  1. Extract the DNA from samples (more)
  2. Take the DNA to the spectrophotometer, and find the quality and optical density of the DNA (more)
  3. Calculate the amount of DNA needed for the PCR Machine (more)
  4. Put the DNA through electrophoresis to see if it has succeeded this far
  5. Apply restrictive enzymes to the DNA.
  6. Analyze the restrictive enzyme result.
