Global Warming can lead to a huge issue in life, and things around you can really change in the future. That's why humans have to try and help stop Global Warming before anything REALLY serious happens. As you all know, in 2002, problems were made from the Kyoto Protocol, wanting most of the world to sign.

Canada's prime-minister; Jean Chrétien had the decision of either signing the protocol for Canada of not. If he signed, then Canada would have to cut down on all uses of cars and oil and fuel, and try to make the world a better place. But, he couldn't place the decision. It was because Alberta has many mines and oil companies set up and around it's province, and if Chrétien signed the protocol, then Alberta would have to cut back on where they were making the most money and their living.

Finally, Chrétien had made the decision to sign the Kyoto protocol, and help with the environment. Though, Canada hasn't changed much in the mean time. Although the Kyoto protocol was a good idea, it's not the only one.
