Summary: This website is intended to educate the public about robotic warfare and the positive and negative impacts that advancements in robot technology can have on society. The website contains information on different types of robots, which are currently being used by the Canadian and United States Army, and it also has information about the future advancements in robotics.

Software and Tools Used: To create the index page and the project information page, I used Macromedia Dreamweaver MX and Microsoft Notepad. For the main part of the website I used Macromedia Flash MX. I also created the text headings using a program called Xara3D. This program created 3D text, buttons and animations with many different effects. To edit the photographs in the main website I also used Adobe Photoshop.

Hardware Used: Practically everything on this website was created on the computer using different software programs as mentioned above. For some of the photos, I used a CanoScan FB 620P scanner. I then edited them in Photoshop.

Special Skills Used: In order to make the main site open in a new window, I used a few lines of JavaScript. For the main website I used ActionScript, which is the programming code used in Flash MX. I used a lot of HTML. There is quite a bit of heavy coding in some parts of the website, especially in the sections where Flash scroll bars are used.

Awards Won: I have not won any awards for this website yet, but the computer science department at my school recognized the project as quite an advanced website with ActionScript.
