Welcome to my Virtual Science Fair webpage! My topic is on mold and the growing conditions. Navigate by order through my navigation bar starting with introduction. I would first like to say that www.toxicmolds.com was a great help for information and I would have trouble without them. I worked alone and had no outside help. For this web site I used FrontPage and Microsoft word and a digital camera. I used my skills in front page and color design to create this site. Project Summary:

My hypothesis is “Mold will grow faster under high temperature low temperatures”. For the experiment I put two evenly cut pieces of processed cheddar cheese into two sealed containers. One container would be in a cold temperature room and the other in a warm room. My hypothesis was accepted. Over the span of 14 days the piece of cheddar cheese in the warmer temperature grew better then the one in the cold. Even though the air was not humid the perspiration inside the container caused by the heat allowed the mold to grow.
