Procedure

    1.    Gathered materials.

    2.    Taped solar cell to support panel using duct tape.

    3.    Connected the leads to the solar cell.

    4.    Connected solar cell to volt metre.

    5.    Changed the settings of the volt metre to MV.

    6.    Unrolled the tape measurer to 3 metres, and then taped it to the ground so it would remain stationary.  

    7.    Put the 60 watt light bulb in the lamp and turned off all lights in house (to make sure there was no interference                    from other light sources).

    8.    Turned lamp on at twenty centimetres away from the solar cell.

    9.    Recorded measurement from the volt metre.

  10.    Moved back by increments of 10 centimetres until 300 centimetres, and recorded all observations at each                            increment.

  11.    Repeated steps 7-10 for energy saving light bulb.

  12.    Repeated step 7-10 for laser except without using the lamp,
