This photo was taken by an anonymous person at 3:14pm on his/her way home on the 4/03/2004. Note: Click on image to enlarge and don't forget to read description below.

The explanation that came with the image was as follows:

"Around this location there have been many sightings of mysterious objects over the years. The object in the image could well be a new craft that was tested from British airspace that is not too far away. Two of these objects were present at the time. In the picture there is also a helicopter watching the object very carefully before the object seemed to vanish.”
The preceding was roughly the account of the person who took the picture.

In my opinion the “saucer” like object in the picture could well be an example of a stealth aircraft that employs smooth rounded surfaces. One such example can be "Tacit Blue" and further information can be found on the corresponding section of this project. Indeed the front view of such an object or even the rear view would account for an image like the mysterious object in the above photo.
