Experiment
For our experiment we wanted to figure out which one between Huggies and Pampers absorbs the most liquid. So we used two methods to figure that out.
Our Methods
First Method:
We poured 6 cups of water into each diaper. We saw that Huggies had a smaller rim than Pampers. Huggies has a double rim so that means that you would think that the double rim would prevent the water from leaking but it didn't work because the two rims were really short. Pampers rim was taller and it didn't leak very much (not as much as Huggies).
Second Method:
We poured 6 cups into two different pots and then we put the diapers in and soaked them until they couldn't soak any more water. Then we hung them over the pot with our hands until they stopped dripping. After Pampers and Huggies stopped dripping, we measured how much water was left in the pots.
