My observations were very different in each group. For the rock group when they did the test again I found that they had trouble concentrating for the music was louder and caused a very big distracting.

In the pop group I found some of the girls in the group were singing along and they therefore did not concentrate, but they did concentrate more then the rock group.

The classical group was by far the best for concentrating. Thought some of them complained it wasn't the best music for beat or anything it was by far the best overall academically.

Also I found the second time they did the test they thought they knew the memorization test but they found it was just as hard as the first time! The second time they did the test they were writing down the words and images faster, I think the music had an effect on that.
