Project Summary: We based this year's science fair project on one that was done last year by Bobby. The project was designed to test the effectiveness of antibacterial substances on E. coli. We ran several tests to try and see how the detergents affected the E. coli’s growth and mutation rate.
Software Tools Used: Macromedia Fireworks MX & Dreamweaver MX (for web design)
Hardware Used: Nikon CoolPix Digital Camera
Inspiration: Walkerton, Ontario water problems were the main reason we wanted to do this experiment. Bacteria are a health hazard and we wanted to find ways to prevail over bacteria. Hence the title: CLEANSE & CONQUER.
