The variables in the experiment were:

Controlled Variables:

1) Location of the seed trays;

2) Humidity;

3) Temperature;

4) Sunlight;

5) Water feed to plants (moisture meter was used to make sure the plants were not over watered).

Manipulated Variable:

The amount of Aspirin (Salicylic Acid) fed to each plant.

Responding Variable:

The growth of the plant.
