1) Measured each bean seed so that allowances could be made for the differences caused by the size of seed.

2) Soaked the peat pots with a measured amount of water.

3) Put glad wrap on the peat pots secured with elastic bands.  This was to stop each pot contaminating the pot next to it.

4) Planted the bean seeds.

5) Pots were then put in a seed tray that was covered until the plants grew too big.

6) Each pot is watered with measured amounts of water (10ml) including small amounts oof Children's Aspirin every week.

7) Observed the growth of the plants and compared results.

8) Repeated the experiment with second seed tray and this time with forget-me-nots and radishes as well as bean plants.

9) Repeated the experiment with a third seed tray with bean plants.
