Our
project
The purpose of this
project is to find out the way that batteries and battery chargers
work. Also we want to know how build our own simple batteries to
produce voltage and electric currents. So, on this site, we will
tell you how all kinds of batteries work, how they are
manufactured and which type of batteries there exists. We will try
to explain to you everything possible on batteries. After seeing
our project, you will know, more or less, all about batteries.
From a lot of research of the internet, we will attempt to
construct three various kinds of batteries, a voltaic pile by
using salted water and coins, the lemon battery with a lemon and
two strips of different metals, and a battery of diluted acid with
lemon juice, a nail and copper and then we will test and record
the voltage and the electricity in our batteries. So briefly, you
only need a dilute acid (which are either vinegar, lemon juice or
really salted water) and two different kinds of metal as copper or
zinc. We will also build a battery charger to recharge batteries
of different sizes and without having to go to the plug and will
see how long it takes it to recharge a rechargeable AA battery. |
