Introduction

Acupuncture is an ancient healing art. It involves the insertion of sharp, fine needles into the body at specific points. These points have been discovered and mapped by Chinese over a period of more than 2,000 years. Recently, electromagnetic research has confirmed their existence.

Acupuncture regulates the flow of Qi (Energy) to areas where it is deficient and away from areas where it is in excess, hence the harmonious energetic balance of the body is restored.

Acupunture is well known for it's ability to:

* Promotion of health and well-being
* Prevention of illnesses
* Treats various medical conditions

Acupuncture can be used in conjunction with moxibustion, and moxibustion itself can also be combined with a non-invasive method of massage therapy, called acupressure.
