Conclusion:
Cranberry juice, but not sour cherry juice, possessed the anti-inflammatory property of inhibiting the production of IL-8 in HT29 epithelial cells that were unstimulated or stimulated by TNF. Cranberry juice may provide an inexpensive natural source for the production of anti-inflammatory therapy. More research should be done to see if cranberry juice and sour cherry juice have (other) anti-inflammatory properties.
