Sharks

Predator

Sharks: the supreme predator. It is mainly skill that gives this amazing animal its title. Sharks are famous for mainly one thing: killing. Although the movies make it look like they are just freaky, savage, bloodthirsty beasts, an actual shark attack on a human is quite rare. The combination of their senses, skills, and instincts creates a lethal predator. Sharks only eat when needed, never just for the thrill of bloodying the surrounding waters, as some fiction puts it. In fact, there are more deaths from bee stings than from sharks. This is why their title changed from the "killing machine" to the "perfect predator". They almost never miss a meal; no matter how much the prey struggles. This is because of their many rows of razor sharp teeth and specially designed bodies. I don't mean to make sharks look bad, but their nature is to crush their prey with vital blows. Their bone shattering jaws make it impossible to escape, and with their awesome speed, their onslaught is certain to prevail. This unstoppable creature is not only driven by determination, but the painful surge of hunger. Nothing gets in its way when it needs to feed, or they will become a before-meal snack as well. A full meal consists of around 3-5lbs of fish, including large crustaceans. The size of the shark decides the average size of the prey. Sometimes, if it is a large shark and is hungry enough, it may go in search of a small shark, such as the dogfish, which grows only up to 2ft. in length or a large marine animal like a seal or porpoise. Whether large or small, the shark devours its prey, and nothing will ever stand in its way.
