Sharks
Domination
Sharks rule the sea, as lions rule the jungle and humans rule the land.
Sharks are the most dominant creatures in the sea. This is because they have no natural enemies, except each other. This applies to almost all species, but some of the smaller sharks are hunted, such as the Dogfish. Cannibalism is common among various species of sharks.
No other creature in the sea would dare to oppose a larger species of shark like the vicious Tiger Shark of the Atlantic Ocean. Sharks were designed to hunt and kill, making them virtually invincible. No creature living in the sea can hide or escape from sharks. Hammerhead species can detect rays and skates underneath the sand; Great White sharks even eat dolphins and seals. Not even tiny creatures, like plankton can hide, Basking Sharks (and Whale Sharks) gulp down these organisms.
Sharks have unique torpedo shaped bodies like no other creature, enabling them to literally "fly" through the water, allowing no prey to escape (see more in Dynamics/Shape).
Their life long skill that they were born with and created to use, is the keen and sharp ability to hunt and hold the upper hand of being the predator efficiently, giving them the freedom to consume whatever they desire with no real threat to themselves, fearing nothing. This fearlessness explains the occurrence of so many inland attacks on humans. They do not mean to harm our society, only to survive, and they do this by dominating the sea.
