Experiment

BAKING POWDER:  My observations for this vase with these tulips are that they don’t seem to appear as healthy as last time.  The stem is wilting quite a bit and it’s not at all rigid like the last time.  In fact, it feels mushy and gooey.   Three quarters of the petals have fallen off! But their still alive for the most part.

A Penny:  The vase that contains the penny and the tulips looks horrible.  They stink!  Plus, the petals have mostly fallen off an the stem is drooping and wilting.  Through research, scientists have proven that a penny is good for plants. I disagree, as the bacteria from the penny are so powerful and so dirty, that the tulip cannot fight it. In that case, the flowers die.

LEMONADE:   The tulips with the sweetened lemonade look great!  The petals haven’t fallen off yet, and they seem to be bright and luminous. The stem hasn’t even begun to wilt as it feels very rigid.  They appear to be very healthy as there’s a lot of snotty gunk at the base of the vase.  These tulips look amazing!

PURE LEMON JUICE:  My observations for this vase with the tulips, is that they still haven’t started to bloom.  They look similar to the lemonade color wise, but they appear just to be a tight, tiny ball of petals.  The stem isn’t drooping though, and the flowers look quite healthy.

SUGAR:  The tulips with the sugar look pretty beautiful, but not at all as bright and healthy as the lemonade.  Luckily, these flowers have started to bloom on the fourth day.  They appear to be normal as there is a ton of snotty green gunk at the bottom of the vase.  That’s the way it’s supposed to be down there.

PLAIN  WATER:   My observations for this glass with these flowers is that they look quite similar to the penny.  But only half of the petals have fallen off.  There’s basically no gunk at the base of the glass and the stem is drooping and sagging all over the place.  They don’t stink too much but they don’t look too healthy either.  That’s they end of day # 5 two!
