Composition of Solutions Used

 Phosphate Buffer (PB)

      0.1 M

pH = 7.4

2.62 g NaH₂PO₄ H₂O

11.52 g NaHPO₄

Distilled H₂O to 1L

Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS)

      0.1  M

pH = 7.4

7.1 g Na₂HPO₄

8 g NaCl

Distilled H₂O to 1L

Phosphate Buffered Saline with Triton X-100 (PBS-T)

      0.1  M PBS

0.3% Triton X-100 (t-Octylphenoxypoly-ethoxyethanol)

Mounting Media

20 mls PBS (0.1 M)

20 mls glycerol

12 mg p-phenylenediaminie

Mix together and heat to dissolve (stirring)

Do not let go yellow.
