| Minimum
essential medium, (MEM), is a tissue culture medium that contains
the basic nutrients and minerals required to keep cells alive. It
is often used in conjunction with FCS (Fetal Calf Serum) to keep cells
growing as "happily" as is possible in a plastic dish. |
