Overhead Pass

1. Stride position
2. knees and hips slightly bent
3. Shoulders square to target
4. Hands in front of forehead
5. Form " window"
6. Look through window at ball.

1. Form hands to ball
2. Contact lower back of ball
3. Contact ball with upper two joints of fingers
4. Extend arms and legs
5. Hands point to target
......finish
1. Hands and arms extend to target
2. Transfer weight towards target
3. Move in direction of ball

Attack
.........preparation
1. Wait on attack line
2. Watch setter
3. Eyes on ball after set
4. Weight forward
5. Anticipate approach to the net
.........execution
1. Begin approach to net when ball ia at peak of its trajectory
2. Cover distance with few steps
3. Last two steps right, close left or step to jump
4. Arms swing back to waist level
5. Both arms swing forward
6. Both arms swing high to ball
7. Contact ball in front of hitting shoulder
8. Contact with upper two joints of fingers
9. Contact with full arm extension

1. Hand follows ball to target
2. Land on both feet
3. Bend knees to cushion landing

Block
..........preparation
1. Wait at the net
2. Watch the opposing setter
3. Hands at shoulder level
4. After set, eyes focus on opposing attacker
5. Position on attacker's hitting arm
...........execution phase
1. Jump immediately after attacker jumps
2. Arms reach above top of net
3. Hands penetrate into opponents court
4. Line up ½ body width to attackers hitting side
5. Withdraw hands
6. Land on two feet

Forearm Pass

1. Hands must be joined, cupped, thumbs pointing to the ground
2. Stride position, slightly
3. Feet shoulder width apart
4. Knees bent
5. Forearms parallel to thighs
6. Back straight
7. Eyes on ball
............execution
1. Thumbs parallel
2. Heels of hands together
3. Receive ball between wrists and elbow
4. Slight extension of legs
5. Slight forward and upward motion
6. Platform ( arms) slanted towards target
7. Hips under and forward
8. Watch ball contact arms

1. Hands remain joined
2. Platform follows ball to target
3. Arms not higher than shoulders
4. Transfer of weight forward
