OBJECTIVE:
In this study I will confirm the ability of Echinacea to inhibit the proliferation of macrophage tumor cells, test the hypothesis that Echinacea causes maturation and differentiation in tumor cells as indicated by the up regulation of surface molecules such as MHC class II, and to determine if Echinacea causes macrophage tumors to undergo apoptosis.
